Gabriel stared ahead at the path his eyes narrowed suspiciously, how annoying there was nothing ahead but trees it look moist and rainy in the forest this was so not his day. Gabriel, or Gabe as he is usually known as, looked to his left and right as if looking for another way to, you know avoid the forest path. Of course there wasn't nothing could ever be so simple. Sighing and running a hand through his long, annoying hair he reached into his hoodie pocket and grabbed a cigarette lighting it before moving ahead using his hand to block any droplets of water that thought they could light out his cigarette no they damn don't! Taking a quick breath of his cigarette he moved carefully through the forest and found himself getting increasingly annoyed with how hot and humid it was in here and how the rain seemed to be picking up each time he moved deeper into the forest. And as the rain picked up it came increasingly harder to block the water from his cigarette so when the inevitable came to be(his cigarette going out) he only thought one thing 'Mother Nature is a bitch.' Threw the cigarette away uncaringly and just kept on walking silently wondering if karma might bite him in the ass for throwing his cigarette on the ground.
With his continued walking Gabe silently wondered how long it would take to get out of the forest. Of course Gabe wasn't walking fast so of course it would take a while to get out of the stupid forest but as he walked he noticed with increased delight that the forest was blocking a lot of the sunlight, though it kept the place rainy and humid no sunlight meant no chance of sunburning! Taking the first chance he got he unzipped his hoodie and threw it over his shoulder breathing a sigh of relief as he was released from the heat of his hoodie. He was wearing a white t-shirt under his hoodie, he always wore light colored shirts because it doesn't attract nearly as much sun as darker colored shirts, but the reason he doesn't like the sun is pretty simple. He burns really easily, even if he's out in the sun for 5 minutes Gabe would come back looking completely red wherever the sun hit him so he's always been careful about the sun.
So there Gabe was just walking along content with life when he lost his footing on the slippery path, fell right on his back and slid a bit. Gabe laid there annoyed, in pain and cursing very loudly words that probably no one should hear. 'Here's karma coming back to kick my ass because of a cigarette on the ground.' Gabe thought angrily feeling too pissed with himself to even lift his butt of the ground, so there he was laying down on the wet path getting completely soaked with his arms crossed glaring at the trees above him. Sounds like today's going according to plan!
[ooc-poor poor Gabe I love abusing him though!]

A small figure suddenly appeared her big sea-green eyes as wide as a does as she looked around curiously peaking threw the trees of route 1 as though she would be able to see something through there. But no matter how wide she stretched her eyes she couldn't see threw the thick darkness that seemed to blanket the forest. The young 13 year olds smile grew more forced, oh how she disliked the darkness! She stared at the path her eyes narrowing slightly almost as though worried, groaning she bent down slightly her head between her knees thinking constantly as she bounced a bit on the tips of her toes humming trying to calm her nerves. Her light blue dress blew slightly, curling around her small, thin body taking in a deep breath she let it out shakily before standing up and walking with sudden confidence into the forest, a suitcase behind her and a bag on her back as if ready for anything.
Ah her name? Well luckily that's one of the only things she remembers or else she really would be lose, her name is Aurora. A beautiful name no doubt but where she got it from and everything else about her it was all a mystery, a deep blackness left where she was so sure memories or something of importance should lay but there was nothing, how empty life seemed to be without something to look forward to. Aurora didn't even know if the personality she has now is the same one she was born with, she only guessed about her age after all she seemed 13 and the number suited her right, she had no clue of her birthday date or anything about her family but each time she thought of this a shadow seemed to fall over her forcing her unable to pry any deeper into the mysteries of her own life. What a sad state of affairs. But what felt even sadder was that Aurora suddenly found herself unable to move any farther, stuck after only a few steps, this place was dark but she could see only still the darkness forced her heart to clench and fear to bubble up. Her hands shook violently her breathing heightening in volume and quickening in speed she was quickly hyperventilating as uncertainty and fear busted out in a violent outburst. Aurora turned her head towards the light and tried to move her legs but they simply wouldn't go, it was as if they were rooted to the ground, wanting her torment to continue. Aurora felt like crying out, but her voice was stuck in her throat nothing was working right! Aurora heard something and she jumped, able to move she was about to make a break for it but hearing someone cursing she stopped and turned back towards the path, someone was yelling and she felt their anger and frustration(sense she was empathetic towards emotions she could easily pick up stuff like this) So curiosity made her move forward fearlessly. As she walked she just noticed the rain, and she smiled a bit oh how she loved the rain.
Aurora blinked as suddenly saw a man, or perhaps he was a boy, laying down on the soaking floor he looked annoyed, not to mention completely soaked but he looked so funny that she giggled.
"Mister are you ok?"
Aurora asked innocently her head tilted to the side, not noticing how her black curly hair was slowly running with water causing it to become straight, she was more concerned, or curious might be the right word, about this man. Like why in the world was he laying down getting soaked on the dirty path? Even Aurora would do something like that and that's saying something.
"So do you like laying on the road? It doesn't look to comfy if you ask me."
She said with a giggle, sticking out her tongue slightly in a playful manner, she didn't mean any harm of course by her questions it wasn't in her nature to be mean to anyone.

So here Gabe was laying on the path, eyes closed to block the water from getting in his eyes, and feeling to pissed, lazy, and annoyed to lift himself off the ground. Though of course he didn't really think through the idea that someone else might come upon him laying here actually he was thinking about how he could smoke a cigarette without it going out as he was laying here; he really needed one right now. What a fabulous day!...not. What he didn't need right now was someone coming over here to bug him, sighing he put the palm of his hands against his eyes growling through clenched teeth, he's going to get a cold he just knew it. He was about to get up when he felt the rain slow down from his face, he opened his eyes meeting sea-green colored ones startling him. He almost jumped up but kept himself calm and relaxed well not really relaxed but calm might be an okay description. Gabe glared at the girl when she laughed at him.
"What're you laughing at?"
Gabe growled angrily, he always hated being laughed at, though this girl seemed innocent enough he still doesn't like it at all! Growling at her questions he lifted himself up off the dirty path glaring slightly down at the small girl, though he found himself filled with triumph at the sight of being taller than her!
"I'm fine, and I slipped."
Gabe mutters annoyed as he stared for a second down at the girl, she was wearing only a dress in this cold rain and that made him frown. He sighed and opened his soaking wet backpack, though inside it was dry, grabbed a hoodie and threw it over her.
"You'll get a cold."
Gabe grumbled looking down at the floor before turning away, being nice was always embarrassing to him but he couldn't leave a little girl like her to stand in the rain with no jacket or anything like that, it wouldn't be right. Sighing he walked away, silently hoping the girl wouldn't follow him deeper into the forest, he didn't like being with someone, especially a girl who seems to talk a lot, or always be happy it just wasn't in his nature to talk a lot or be around someone who talk a lot. Running a hand through his soaked hair he stared up at the trees above him, deep in thought.

All past fears were in the past, forgotten long gone sense the moment Aurora had heard this mans yelling it was surprisingly cute the way she often got distracted from thought to thought. Speaking of which does she even know where she's going? This caused her to giggle a bit at her own foolishness of course she knew where she was going! Out of this forest by following this path! Aurora tilted her head slightly...that was right...right? Well she'll get back to that later right now she had more important matters to attend to! rocking back and forth on her heels(covered with shoes of course) she stared down at the man who finally seemed to notice her. She felt his shock like lightning and jumped back a bit, giving him a little bit of room before forgetting anything about personal space and returning to her looking down position except she lowered herself more staring dead into the mans chocolate eyes, Aurora blinked at his question and giggled again stepping back as he got up.
"I'm laughing at you of course silly! You just looked so funny laying there I couldn't help but laugh!"
Aurora said, to make her words seem more dramatic she went up on her tippy tippy toes and reached her arms up, her mouth dramatically wide and her large eyes comically making a perfect example of dear-in-the-headlight type of eyes. Laughing at herself she escaped the strange position in one moment smiling and giggling, hoping to maybe make the uptight man(boy?) laugh or chuckle a tinsy bit! At his next words she nodded quickly running ahead of him turning and stopping to face him, hands on her hips bending over slightly while looking up at him with fake narrowed eyes.
"Be more careful you little Mister!"
Aurora ordered blowing one of her cheeks out with air trying to make herself seem more angry, she squeaked a bit when suddenly a hoodie was thrown on top of her, covering her head, she peeked out through a opening of the hoodie, she giggled barely hearing his words but she heard them. Putting the hoodie on, zipping it up and covering her head with the hood, stuffing her hands in the pockets she ran after him walking next to him, she looked up at him and grinned.
"Thanks! My names Aurora what's yours?"
Aurora asked curiously, she sighed a little bit, it was to silent so she looked up at the man and held back a laugh as she stared up at the sky with a narrowed-eyed expression trying her hardest to look grumpy, probably to try and copy him, but she couldn't help giggles starting to come out of her mouth. She sure doesn't act like a 13 year old huh? Oh well! It's more fun to act like this, she stuck her tongue out a bit, as if trying to catch the falling rain on her tongue forgetting all about pretending to be the person next to her she was just happy to have someone to walk with! It was never a good feeling to be alone...Aurora looked up at the man smiling gently.
"Really...thank you."
Aurora whispered, it didn't matter much if he did or didn't hear it just mattered to her that she said it.
