Kallen-or Numb as she is so used to being called walked slowly staring around the town time passing by so slowly. It was strange this was such a new place yet nothing seemed different even though in her heart she knew everything was so much different. Numb laughed in spite of herself, a heart does she even have one? Sure you need one to live, she has that down because well she's living isn't she? But a heart to feel with? Numb moved her hand slowly to where her heart was, but felt nothing, even when her hand touched the fabric. A soft, mocking laugh echoed out of her mouth, she shouldn't even be worrying about this stuff now should she? She's been living with this her whole life, thinking about it won't change anything nothing ever will. After all there's no hope for fixing a problem as complicated as hers; the ability to not feel anything.
The world was made up of differences right? Everything was normal, in a way, and all had at least a bit of something that was the same. Everything on this earth could feel something because everything was made to survive. But the birth of Kallen must have thrown the whole world a curve ball that it just struck out on. It was in the book of survival that she shouldn't have been born, shouldn't have even been created nor lived long enough to know her first birthday. But she was alive, throughout the years of unknown pain she had reached adulthood it was a breakthrough that even surprised Kallen. Of course she probably wouldn't have been able to stand life if it wasn't for how she lived, but that was in the past. A new place for another chance. For what? Well Kallen wasn't so sure yet. But it was to early to go around thinking it was okay to use her real name, Numb seemed so much more like a real name than Kallen did. Numb was her name, Kallen was the puppet, the mask she wore over her true face; a blank face. Who was Kallen? Somebody who was supposed to be real? Or a nobody who was simply there? Numb smirked, oh now she was referring to her real name as though it was something except just a name. But Kallen came to a conclusion, no longer would she refer to herself as Kallen it was an empty name with an empty meaning. Numb was so much more her.
Walking down an alley Numb stared blankly at a large dumpster nodding she lifted herself easily on-top of it laying herself down on the metal lid, the place was hidden in shadows, she must stand out. Her hair was a bright silver, pale skin under a plain black t-shirt, and dark jeans hell even her eyes were a light grey color. Lifting her hand up she stared at it almost curiously it was like she forgot her own color and instead turned white, was it possible for one to forget what color they were supposed to be? Maybe that is why snow is white, because it forgot what color it was supposed to be. sitting up she took off her backpack taking out a pokeball and staring at it closely, she never understood pokemon much, it was something new and interesting so she chose to try it and already she had 2 which made her a bit proud of herself not that she'd show it of course! Instead she threw the pokeball absentmindedly in the air, looking around a bit as if waiting for something, anything.
