Name: Zak Ravel Gender: Male Age: 20 Sexuality: Heterosexual Trainer Class: Pokemon Trainer Hometown: Celadon City - Kanto Appearance:
Height: 5'11 Weight: 152 lbs
And thin figure. He just can't seem to get enough carbs to give him any substantial amount of fat. Then again, it just might be his height that makes him look skinny. If he were around 5'7", he would definitely look more on the plumper side. He has slight tan as well. His arms, though thin, are lined with well-developed muscles. Not like a weight lifter's though, just enough to make them look athletic enough to fit the bill.
His hair is normally a messy clump of black, reaching just about his shoulder blades. He doesn't mind it that much, and defends himself by saying that its 'style'. Though, of course, if a formal event were to present himself, he might go and fix it up to at least give some more appeal. But he doesn't get invited to those too much.
He has startling blue eyes, sometimes dark, sometimes light, reflecting his mood even. They are often hidden behind his frame less glasses. His eye sight isn't at all that blurry, but he prefers to wear them so that he can see all the details.
His choice of clothes are more on the 'simple' side. He'd wear any shirt, for any occasion, any time. Not exactly picky is he? He only has small array of clothes, a couple of jackets just in case. He;d prefer clothes in a darker color scheme, less likely to get dirty. Shirt and jeans are the best way to go, though a few people have told him that he'd look good in a tux, he never actually tried it.
Personality:
He enjoys life as it is.
Not quite smart...
He is exactly the brightest crayon in the box. He is normally misinformed, and possibly makes things up as he goes. The normal amount of common sense that a person would have, he would need quite badly. He looks at things as simply as he can, so as not to confuse himself. He isn't too good at explaining himself, using gestures and vague ideas make others think that he might needs some more time to gather his thoughts. He charges into the situation, thinking about the problems as they come along. Stubborn...
He might be wrong, but he won't necessarily admit it. As much as possible, he'd move on with life, pretending as though he hadn't made that mistake. When he puts his mind to something, he'll stick through with it, even when others decide to give up. He has his own personal standard of when to give up and back out, and there abnormally high. He wouldn't have gotten to the way he was, if he were not that stubborn. Reliable...
He sticks to his word, and remembers them. If he says he'll be there, then he'll be there. He'll be honest enough to say whether or not he can do it. Sentimental... When someone really means something to him, he becomes protective. Object and people suddenly become important during these times. He would go out of his way, to Friendly... At the very least friendly enough to say hi to some random stranger he may meet. Friendly enough to offer some food, and friendly enough to introduce himself.
The simplest things can make him satisfied, from having done his work properly, or even just after having taken a nap, his composition doesn't all much changes. He rather enjoys company, as he does get bored where there is none else to talk to. He can be rather childish. Fooling around does get him into trouble, but he does it anyway. He'll joke around, play a trick, or whatever else he can think of.
History:
He wasn't born into a rich family.
Even at a young age, he had to work so that he and his family had enough to eat, and had enough money to pay for the bills. As a result, he had a lot of odd jobs. At least by that, he was able to learn how to work properly. He worked at a bookstore once, and had a job as the guy who was left behind to clean up every time. It wasn't exactly a job position, but it paid well enough. So he would stay late at the bookstore, often browsing a few books every now and then before putting them back on the shelf. As a result, he was able to get tidbits of information on a lot of topics, though nothing quite in depth.
His family had but one pokemon. Only a Growlithe, simply for protection of their small home. The Growlithe wasn't exactly strong but the puppy was loyal to them. Zak was normally the one who would take care of the puppy however, as his parents were always working to scrape enough money for the month.
He continued to work. Selling whatever he could find, doing whatever he could to make money. Not to mention he had finally gotten another pokemon of his own. It was but a Pidgey, but he loved the tiny bird pokemon. His boss allowed the Pidgey to accompany him during work, since the bird was just small.
At some point, he wanted to become a pokemon trainer, especially when he heard that he could even get money by being a trainer. He left rather quickly though it broke his heart that he had to set his Pidgey free. Every time he see a pidgey, he would wonder if it was her.

He doesn't exactly love to fight, but he doesn't hate it either. Fighting is sort of just a past time for him. He is loyal, the type that wouldn't just allow him or those he know to be in danger. He has little regard for personal space. He rather likes mocking Zak, his trainer, and does so as much as he can. As a dragon pokemon, he doesn't work well in cold weather, preferring to stay inside when winter comes, he becomes grumpy during the cold days.
Other: - Addicted to coffee and hot chocolate. - Or anything sweet for that matter. - More shall be added as they become apparent. - Particularly likes Flying-types
